Operating from our woodworking department, we offer a craft-based work experience, and training focused on producing rustic wooden furniture and small wooden decorative garden items such as bird boxes, garden seats, planters, garden art, bug hotels, bat and hedge box boxes and much more.
Along with tool handling and coordination, skills are learnt in team working. As permitted, we can also use a local woodland to collect wood and create unique items such as our famous pigs!
Another part of woodworking is getting donated wood ready for use which involves de-nailing and cleaning.
