Welcome to the future website of the Walton Lea Partnership
We provide supported learning, development and supported work activities for vulnerable adults and young people with learning disabilities.
Supported learning opportunities
We are a registered charity providing a variety of activities and supported learning opportunities for adults and young people with learning disabilities and complications caused by:
• Autistic Spectrum Disorder
• Mental health challenges
• Mobility difficulties
• Early on-set dementia
• Syndromes including Downs, Fragile X and Williams
• Social exclusion
We empower our learners
We aim to empower Learning Disabled and vulnerable adults through programmes of supported learning.
Accredited and non-accredited learning takes place including City & Guilds Employability Skills and courses in Practical Horticulture Skills, Environment and Heritage. The substance of our learning is anchored in the experience, perception and personal definition of each supported learner.
For some, we are building pathways towards further education, volunteering, supported internships and employment.
