Our people are at the heart of everything we do.
We are Walton Lea Partnership
We are a registered charity providing a variety of activities and supported
learning opportunities for adults and young people with learning disabilities.
We aim to empower Learning Disabled and vulnerable adults through
programmes of supported learning and both accredited and non-accredited learning takes place.
Learning anchored in experience
For example we offer City & Guilds Employability Skills and courses in Practical Horticulture, Skills, Environment and Heritage.
Our learning is where substance is anchored in the experience, perception and personal definition for each supported learner.
For some, we are building pathways towards further education, volunteering, supported internships and employment.
Our dedicated and person-centred approach ensures individuals develop at their own pace
Promoting choice and independence
We work with our learners based on their goals and skills. We believe in
promoting the choice and independence of the people that use our services.
As a result of a successful collaboration in a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund,
The Walton Lea Partnership has joined Warrington Borough Council and
Myerscough College in a unique venture to deliver learning in the repaired and
transformed Conservatory and Shippon areas of the Walton Estate.
