Sustainability is a really important word here at Walton Lea. Our learners develop their creativity by repairing, re-furbishing and re-invigorating apparently tired and unwanted furniture.

The skills of painting, repairing, adapting, and reupholstering are all created by our learners, as are opportunities to interact, discuss and make decisions.

Collecting items from the public and delivering completed projects to our customers offer a special opportunity for our learners to venture out into the wider community.

Creating useful things and seeing the pleasure of our clients are vital factors in raising the self-esteem and a sense of purpose in our learners.
